I am lucky enough to have photographed these two for their couples sessions a few times now, and their latest session didn’t disappoint! We met up in 20 degree chill at gorgeous Price Park in Greensboro, NC in a beautiful snowy field. Exactly what we all had hoped for, and, though it was pretty cold, their love for one another was so heartwarming and came through in every image.
For me, there’s nothing like being with a couple in love!
I asked these cuties about their memories of their session, and I am so excited to share their responses and favorite images.
“I like that it captures us. We were just being goofy and it looks like a moment we’d have at home.” – Amanda
“In this one, I feel like it shows our different energies. It really illuminates how we complement each other.” -Arin
“I like how inclusive Emily is. As a queer couple, it can be harder to find a photographer that we feel 100% comfortable being ourselves around. In our last shoot, one of the prompts she gave us was to whisper to each other in a French accent. It created a sweet moment because it looked like we were sharing a laugh over a secret.” – Arin + Amanda
“It was really cold and this photo reminds me that I wasn’t at all focused on the cold. I was just focused on Amanda and being in the moment with her.” – Arin
I can’t wait for the next time!
Thanks for reading!
—Emily
