Sweet Mother & Son | Family Photo Session in Winston-Salem

As soon as I met this mama before her family session for her to try on a few dresses from my client closet, I knew she was an incredibly special mom. When she talked about her son, everything about her glowed. She said that she and her son are best friends. And I think you’ll see that in their sweet photos.

I asked this mama to tell me a bit about her favorite images. Here are her top picks.

Which ones of your son are your favorites?

“The picture of my son [that] I love the most is hard to choose. I really like the one of the side of his face where he is just staring off in space, I love the one of him running, it brings out his innocence, but I think my very favorite is the one with his hands in his pocket with the genuine smile.”

Your ability to relax and be yourself at your session is so important to me; what helped you to really enjoy your time together?

“Your genuine kindness really helped me relax, be myself, and feel comfortable. My favorite picture of myself is the same as my favorite of my son and I together it is the close up of us where he is the focal point, but I am looking at him like he is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me. You captured that perfectly, because he absolutely is.”

Is there an image of your son that really shows your sweet relationship?

“I will most cherish the picture mentioned above because you can see in his face that he truly loves his mom and you can see in mine how incredibly proud of him I am. He is my everything.”
